Lorna Bennett

Lorna is a teacher, speaker, coach, and change consultant passionate about personal growth and transformation.  She celebrates people turning themselves ON – mentally, physically and spiritually. With more than 20 years experience in consulting, teaching, business leadership and organizational development, Lorna has served as a change catalyst under many umbrellas. She is an experienced Yoga and Barre teacher, Reiki Master, organizational change facilitator, published writer, and personal life/relationship coach.  She’s also mother to three children (five if you include fur-babies!). From 2012 to 2016 Lorna worked with THE DAILEY METHOD international franchise as a studio owner and as designated “CSO” (Chief Spiritual Officer) introducing Mindfulness trainings for studio owners and teachers. Lorna has consulted in Health Care Public Relations, Patient and Family Education, Cultural Competency, and Organizational Development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education, and undergraduate degrees in Journalism and English. Lorna currently resides in Boulder, CO.

Delia Buckmaster

Delia is founder of Delia Pilates® and in the industry for almost 20 years. She’s an International Fitness Educator, PMA®CPT, BootyBarre® Master Trainer, and Balanced Body® Master Instructor. Delia earned her Full Certification through STOTT®Pilates and completed the BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Program. Delia has been featured in Pilates Style Magazine, a PMA panelist and published fitness and wellness writer for a regional magazine . She was voted best fitness instructor in Whitefish 2014, 2015 , 2016 & 2018 and was a finalist for the Pilates Anytime 2016 & 2017 Next Instructor Competition.

Kristin DiMiceli

Kristin took her first Pilates reformer lesson in 1998 and was immediately hooked. As her passion for practicing Pilates grew, she made the life-changing decision to leave a successful corporate career in 2003 and enroll in the teacher training program at Long Beach Dance Conditioning. Her family has moved about the country quite a bit which has allowed her to teach Pilates in so many different regions and absorb knowledge from others in the movement field. Her goal is to never stop learning and to share her Pilates experience with others. In 2018 she opened Garage Pilates studio in Los Alamitos, CA where they offer Pilates, yoga and Bounce classes. This fun, supportive vibe of Momentum Fest is exactly what they aspire to emulate at their Garage Pilates studio.

Tasha Edwards

Tasha, a native of Chicago, began her fitness career selling memberships at a local gym in 2004. Since then, she has earned a 500 hour Pilates certification (and is getting ready to do it again through Balanced Body), a 250 hour yoga certification, AFAA personal training, ACE and AFAA group fitness and twenty plus additional specialty fitness certifications. She is also a certified integrative health coach. Tasha is currently an ambassador for NOW Foods, the Movement Shop as well as a contributing blogger for Pilates Anytime and Balanced Body and an instructor on John Garey TV. She hold degrees in both sociology and counseling and spends her time focused on inclusive and accessible wellness for all. She is also working on more movement and motivational offerings online. Lauren George

Lauren George is the Co-Creator of the Enhanced Barre Above Program, Creator of the Musicality Method, Co-Owner of FitBiz Retreat, Fit and Fierce on the Mic Podcast host, adjunct faculty at Clemson University, former studio owner, and a Master Trainer for Balletone. She has had a love for movement since a young age and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University and Master’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from University of North Texas. She was named EMPOWER! Fusion Education Partner of the Year in 2018. Lauren has had the pleasure of leading the group fitness programs at The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, Florida State University, and Todd Pilates and Fitness. Most of all, Lauren is passionate about helping participants understand that fitness can be FUN!

Jill Hinson NCPT, is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor. Jill is the Founder and Executive Director of Core Compassion Project, a 501(c)3 nonprofit offering post-rehab Pilates scholarships to women and men battling breast cancer. Jill founded the nonprofit when her very first client received a diagnosis of breast cancer. In search for how to help this client and multiple others fighting, she spent seven years studying and creating a fitness program that would become The Jill Hinson Method for Breast Cancer. Jill has created a teacher training program, as well as a home-based program for breast cancer fighters that can be introduced inside the studio. Core Compassion Project has served over 75 women in the Charlotte, NC area, each receiving ten private Pilates sessions with a qualified Pilates teacher. Lesley Logan

Lesley Logan, a certified Pilates teacher and mindset coach, fell in love with Pilates after her first 100! From side-hustle to full time, she jumped from teacher to manager to running multiple studios. She wrote a book that focused on the business of Pilates, which grew into ProfitablePilates.com and is now a business coaching program called Agency. Later she created OnlinePilatesClasses.com, which includes the first free online catalog of Pilates tutorials. When not in Las Vegas she travels, leading workshops and retreats around the world. Chantill Lopez

Chantill is a movement explorer, educator, mentor and coach. She’s made a 20-year career teaching movement and it still makes her say “Hell, ya!” Her work currently focuses on teaching/learning from the whole-person and whole-body perspective, drawing from brain-based learning frameworks, motivation and communication science, somatic and humanistic psychology, and other cutting edge models such as the Polyvagal Theory. She’s recently launched a new teaching framework called Integrative Movement Facilitation.Chantill is the founder of the education company, Skillful Teaching, the creator of the Thinking Pilates Podcast, and author of two books on teaching, Moving Beyond Technique, and the soon to be released Teaching (Movement) Matters (2020). Jonathan Oldham

Jonathan Oldham, MSPT, PMA-CPT, began his career in Pilates after a four-year skating tour with Ice Capades. He was certified at the Pilates Center of Boulder in 1992. Jonathan attained his physical therapy degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1999. Since then, he has been integrating Pilates methodology with his physical therapy practice. Jonathan studied extensively with master teacher Ron Fletcher and completed the Ron Fletcher program of study in 2005. Mychele Sims

Mychele finds motivation in movement. While her love of dance helped her find Pilates, Mychele’s love for Pilates propelled her to teach, and share the method with others. Specifically, Mychele seeks to create inclusive spaces for people of color to experience Pilates. Mychele completed her comprehensive classical training at the Equinox Pilates Teacher Training Institute. As the owner of Get2Werk Fitness®, Mychele channels her passion for fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE/AFAA/NASM/TRX), and dance teacher. When Mychele is not reading cases for law school, she enjoys spending time with Leo’s Tacos.

 Amy Taylor Alpers

Amy Taylor Alpers went to The Juilliard School for dance, danced with the Garden State Ballet, and received her BA and MA in Dance from New York University. She began studying Pilates with Romana Kryzanowska at the original Pilates Studio in New York City and received her Pilates teaching certificate from there in July of 1989. Along with her sister, Rachel Taylor Segel, she established The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO in 1990. One year later they founded The Pilates Center Teacher Training Program. Amy has taught workshops all around the United States, as well as in Canada, Paris, London, and Israel. With her sister, Amy also co-authored The Everything Pilates Book, published in 2002. She was a Board Member of the Pilates Method Alliance from 2001-2004, and served on the committee to develop the PMA National Pilates Certification Exam.

Jessica Valant

Jessica Valant, MSPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist, Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, continuing education provider, proud mama and movement lover. She believes when people feel strong and free in their own bodies it can lead to a ripple of more kindness and love in the world. Jessica is recognized as a leader in the Pilates industry due to her extensive experience of over 20 years, continuing education courses, women’s health expertise, successful online Pilates studio and popular Youtube channel. Her work has been featured in Pilates Style Magazine, Shape Magazine and Thrillest and she has been named a YouTube Creator on the Rise and Pilates Anytime Next Instructor Competition Finalist. Jason Williams

Jason has been in the health and fitness industry since 2002. As a former colligate track athlete he saw the importance of working hard with proper alignment. With proper alignment and corrective exercise you can prevent injury and improve performance. He has taught a multitude of classes such bootcamp style and spin, but his main interest is Pilates and Barre. As a personal trainer he brings his knowledge of the human body to all his classes. Jason has recently became a meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner. As a Wellbeing Coach, he teaches clients about not only fitness and nutrition, but the whole mind body connection. As an author he has written two children’s health and fitness books, “The Adventures of Frankie Fitness” , “The Adventures of Frankie Fitness, Introducing Ginger” and newest book “The Adventures of Frankie Fitness, A Family That Meditates”.

Trina Altman

Trina Altman, BS, PMA-CPT, E-RYT 500. She’s the creator of Yoga Deconstructed® and Pilates Deconstructed®, which take an interdisciplinary approach to foster an embodied understanding of yoga and Pilates and their relationship to modern movement science. Trina created and taught a Pilates Deconstructed® course for physical therapists at UCLA and was part of the faculty for the Brain Longevity® conference at UCLA. Her work has been published in Pilates Style, Yoga Journal and Yoga International. Her book, Yoga Deconstructed®: Transitioning From Rehabilitation Back Into The Yoga Studio is slated to be published by Handspring Publishing in December 2019.

Nancy Castiglioni

Nancy Castiglioni is an International Presenter who has taught classes and workshops to instructors in the US, England, Korea, Qatar, Italy, Panama, Argentina and Paraguay. Nancy is scheduled to teach at the Pilates Festival India early 2020.
She is a Founding Presenter of “It’s a Pilates Party” held in Boston every year. She has been featured on Pilates Style Magazine, Pilates TV and several other major Instagram pages. She has been a ballet dancer and a gymnast and now shares her passion for Pilates through her Instagram page and at several studios in Panama, where she currently resides and around the world through her workshops. Marimba Gold-Watts

Marimba Gold-Watts, PMA-CPT, RCST® is the 2018 Winner of the Next Pilates Anytime Instructor Contest. Formerly a professional dancer, she began studying Pilates in 1999 and received her pilates certification at The Kane School of Core Integration under the direction of Kelly Kane in 2007.  In 2012, Marimba and her husband Steve opened Articulating Body Inc., a pilates and wellness studio in New York City. Marimba is also a Registered Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist®, a graduate of Barnard College of BA in Art History, and has taught modern dance both internationally and at The Ailey school since 2005. Her goal is to help her clients achieve strong, fluid, and more articulate bodies.

Grace Hurry

Grace is from the UK, and first fell in love with movement when she started ballet at the age of 2.  Aged 11 she was accepted to full time ballet school where, alongside ballet training, Grace was lucky enough to be introduced to Pilates. From then on Pilates became an integral part of Grace’s dance training and career.In 2010 Grace transitioned from professional dancer to ballet and Pilates teacher, and became certified through the Royal Academy of Dance, the Pilates Method Alliance, and Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates in the UK, and later competed the Mentor and Master programs with Rael Isacowtiz in California.
After 3 years of teaching in the Cayman Islands, Grace now lives on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands and co-owns a Pilates studio there. She also guest teaches and hosts Pilates retreats internationally and is a member of the BASI Pilates faculty. She is so excited to be returning to Momentum Fest for a second year! Jamie Isaac

Jamie Isaac believes in the power of mindful movement to change the world.
As a surfer, yoga lover and hopeless devotee to Pilates, Jamie founded Azulfit, Retreat and Fluid Life Pilates Studio, to share his passion with those who are ready to take their next conscious step toward vibrant health. Jamie feels honored to have studied with Lolita San Miguel and to be certified by her as a Master Teacher. He is also a Peak Pilates Master Instructor with over 25 years experience in coaching and teaching human movement. At his studio in California, and through workshops and retreats across the globe, Jamie loves nothing more than supporting and celebrating the transformations of his students… except maybe playing with his awesome kids.

Danica Kalemdaroglu

Danica Kalemdaroglu began using Pilates as part of her undergraduate curriculum. Pain in her knees from torn, frayed and removed cartilage began in her late teens. Conventional physical therapy was unable to offer any short or long term relief. She was told numerous times to quit dancing and find a more ‘sedentary’ career. Through precise Pilates instruction, Danica was taught how to re-balance her musculature and work with the dynamic alignment of her spine. Today, she is still dancing, performing and choreographing as co-artistic director of local modern dance company RVA Dance Collective. Danica’s approach to teaching Pilates is to truly educate the individual about their body versus to simply go through the motions. Completing the Full Comprehensive Certification Program at world renowned The Pilates Center required over 900 hours of Pilates training. Danica began her dance teacher apprenticeship(s) when she was only fifteen. Under the tutelage of Elbert Watson (The Norfolk Academy) and Martinez family (Virginia Beach Ballet Academy). Andrea Mitchell

Andrea Mitchell is an intuitive wellness coach and founder of Andrea Mitchell Wellness. She approaches healing the whole body, addressing the energetic bodies and the physical body. Nikki Naab-Levy PMA®-CPT is a Pilates teacher and certified functional strength coach with over a decade of experience helping clients build strength and overcome injury. She holds B.S. in Exercise Science and B.S. Journalism from Ohio University and was second place in the 2018 Next Pilates Anytime Instructor Competition. Her fitness wisdom has been featured in Girls Gone Strong, The Seattle Times, and Men’s Fitness. LaBriece Ochsner

LaBriece Ochsner, NCPT, Balanced Body Master Instructor, is a leader, role model for healthy living, life coach, international mentor and maser teacher of Pilates. Balancing mothering to 3 children and running her studio in person and online, she approaches teaching with a full heart, extraordinary insight and precise attention to detail. Carrie Pages

Carrie Pagès is the owner and senior Pilates Instructor for In Balance Pilates Studio. She attended high school at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she majored in Classical Ballet. Carrie discovered the endless benefits of Pilates while rehabilitating an ankle injury and knew it would be a part of her life forever. She received her certification while living in Charleston, SC in 2000. In 2002, Carrie opened In Balance Pilates Studio in Wilmington, NC and founded the In Balance Pilates Teacher Training program in 2004. She is also the winner of the 2016 Pilates Anytime Next Instructor Competition. Along with travelling to studios all over the country to teach workshops and master classes Carrie is a presenter for Pilates On Tour with Balanced Body. Her recent project CarriePagesPilates.com is an online studio designed for instructors looking for inspiration and motivation.

Martin Reid

Martin Reid started in the fitness industry in 2002 after finishing playing University football and completing his Masters degree in Counselling. It was during that time as a social worker that he realized he could make a difference helping people feel better through fitness. In 2002, he left the social services to start a personal training business called Personal Victory.

In 2008, Martin completed his first Pilates mat certification as a self interest class upon realizing it had healed his back pain caused by sports injuries. After completing a comprehensive Pilates certification with Peak Pilates in 2014, Martin recognized the importance of a regular Pilates practice in both his clients’ programming as well as his own personal practice. In 2019, Martin completed an 600 hour apprenticeship and it was there that he was inspired to continue to learn more of the system Joseph Pilates originally called Contrology and shift his focus towards men moving better.
In July 2020, Martin opened two businesses. Reid Method Pilates Studio is a micro-business inside High Octane Training and Therapy Clinic in Mississauga. Lori Shipp

Lori is a 3rd generation Pure Classical Pilates instructor with direct training lineage to Joseph and Clara Pilates; She completed her comprehensive (mat and apparatus) studies under 2nd generation master trainers Marianne Adams and Rebecca Quin. In addition she studied and completed the Professional Pilates Advanced Teacher program with Kathi Ross Nash. She is a licensed and certified Yoga Instructor. Lori owns Vive Pilates + Motion, a boutique Pilates studio located in Raleigh, NC. She is known for her humor, her ability to empower her students and her accessibility.
